FAT DISSOLVER (KYBELLA)

$599/VIAL

Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the body that helps with the absorption of fat cells. It is injected into the fat below the chin to improve the appearance of the jawline and profile.

For best results, 2-3 treatments spaced four weeks apart are recommended. At your appointment, our provider will recommend how many vials you should use per treatment.  That can range from 2-6 vials per treatment.

Fat Dissolver (Kybella) FAQs

There is some swelling right after Kybella treatment, which typically is most prominent in the first 2-3 days and is typically completely resolved in a week. After day 3, most swelling is not noticeable to others, although a scarf or a mock turtleneck can help camouflage. Over the following month, you may feel (but not see) some bumps under the skin of the treated area. This firmness means Kybella is working to dissolve the fat. Once the fat is dissolved, your body will naturally absorb the fat cells.

The results gained with Kybella are considered permanent and the fat will not return once dissolved, as long as the weight of the patient remains stable. FDA studies show maintenance of improvement at 5 years after treatment.

There is little pain during the Kybella procedure. There is a slight burning sensation when the product is administered, but at Boss Gal Beauty Bar, we use topical numbing and ice to ensure comfort for our clients!

Every patient is different. Our team of medical professionals will help to evaluate your areas of concern and determine a treatment plan. Most patients need 2-4 sessions spaced 6-8 weeks apart.
