What is LED?
LED stands for light emitting diode. The light delivers energy to your skin cells, which
enhances cellular metabolism.
What does LED do for your skin?
To put it simply, LED helps your skin cells function at their best. When cells are
functioning properly, cell repair increases and collagen production is stimulated. This
helps to improve skin concerns like loss of elasticity, fine lines, hyperpigmentation and
even acne.
Red light vs. blue light
Red light is most commonly associated with anti-aging benefits. It stimulates collagen
production to keep your skin looking firm, smooth and healthy.
Blue light is primarily used to treat acne. It penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin
to kill acne-causing bacteria and reduce inflammation.
